Sightseeing and photos go hand in hand when on vacation so it is no surprise that selfies and super attractive photos have created the rise of one of the most popular social media platforms of all time. Technology has come a long way in recent years, and it seems like everyone has a high definition camera right in their back pocket! Niagara is full of scenic views, and unique photo opportunities so we thought we would compile a list of our favourite instagrammable spots in Niagara. No filter needed.
Botanical Gardens
With its manicured gardens and linear tree arrangements, Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens have been the backdrop of many Instagram shots, wedding portraits and delightfully slow Sunday strolls.
Journey Behind the Falls
The lower observatory deck of Journey Behind the Falls gets you as close to the base of the falls as you can get! With the sun shining down you can count on rainbows shining behind you in the mist. The iconic yellow ponchos add a pop of colour! The only thing missing is your smile!
Clifton Hill
Clifton Hill has been a hub for family friendly fun for over 100 years! There are many old favourites to photograph such as the giant Frankenstein eating a Whopper Hamburger to the giant Niagara Skywheel ferris wheel. Already done that? New backgrounds include the T-rex from the Dinosaur Mini Golf or time your shot for when the giant volcano erupts with fire in to the sky! This street is sure to please all photographers and add flashes of colour, visual interest, and also capture the essence of FUN that is a part of every Niagara Falls adventure.
